Erin Turcke

erin-turckeErin Turcke is DipWSET® Certified, a Certified Sommelier and a French Wine Scholar. Upon completing the WSET Diploma in 2018, Erin finished among the top percentile of graduating candidates and was awarded the Napa Valley Vintners Scholarship for outstanding results.

Her wine education started at the famed Raymonds Restaurant in St. John’s, Newfoundland where she worked as the Sommelier for five years. She is currently managing the wine program at The Inn at Bay Fortune on Prince Edward Island which is owned and operated by celebrity chef Michael Smith.

Erin transitioned into wine after a fifteen year stretch in the night kitchens of artisan bread baking. She holds a culinary diploma from the Stratford Chefs School and has published a book on sourdough bread.
